Owner Gabriel Heiser (Gabe Hizer) is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, arranger, producer and engineer.

 

After graduating from the presitigious Berklee College of Music in 1971 (B.M., Jazz Composition), he worked as a singer and guitarist in various bands in the New England (USA) area and made his living as a guitar teacher.

​

After attending Boston University School of Law (J.D., 1983), he practiced as an estate planning and tax lawyer for 25 years. During all this time he continued to play guitar and write songs, which now number at least 2,000. 

​

As a resident of famous Music City USA (i.e., Nashville, Tennessee) for 18 years, he made many friends who owned their own recording studios, which encouraged him to set up his own home-based personal studio to record his own songs.

In a major renovation of his house in the magic city of San Miguel de Allende, Gabriel converted part of it into a beautiful and wonderful-sounding recording studio. Thus Estudio San Miguel was born, in 2018. We encourage you to contact Gabriel and discuss a visit to the studio for your next musical project.

El propietario Gabriel Heiser (Gabe Hizer) es un cantante, compositor, guitarrista, arreglista, productor e ingeniero.

 

Después de graduarse de la prestigiosa Berklee College of Music en 1971 (B.M., Jazz Composition), trabajó como cantante y guitarrista en varias bandas en el área de Nueva Inglaterra (EE. UU.) Y asimismo impartía clases particulares de guitarra.

Años más tarde asistió a la Universidad de Boston en la Facultad de Leyes (J.D., 1983) y ejerció como abogado de fideicomisos y planificación testamentaria durante 25 años. Durante todo este tiempo, continuó tocando la guitarra y escribiendo canciones, que ahora suman al menos 2,000.

Durante ese periodo, cambió su residencia a la famosa Music City USA (Nashville, Tennessee) y por 18 años hizo muchos amigos que tenían sus propios estudios de grabación, lo que lo animó a establecer su propio estudio personal en el hogar para grabar sus propias canciones.

​

Y finalmente en el año 2014 decidió mudarse a la mágica y cosmopolita ciudad de San Miguel de Allende en la cual estableció su nuevo estudio de grabación. Así nació el Estudio San Miguel. Lo invitamos a contactarse con Gabriel y discutir una visita al estudio para su próximo proyecto musical.
